Established in 1997, the Vacuum Technology Group (VTG) operates under the auspices of Shimadzu Precision Instruments, Inc., and directly reports to the Semiconductor Division of Shimadzu Corporation, Japan. VTG strategically set up its sales office in Santa Clara, California, to provide direct sales and customer support to key OEM accounts in Silicon Valley. It also strategically set up its service center in Austin, Texas, to provide service and support to manufacturing companies in Silicon Hills, and to support all US customers from a central US location.
VTG markets and sells the full line of Shimadzu magnetically levitated Turbo Molecular Pumps from 200 L/s to 4000 L/s for various applications. The Austin Service Center (ASC) provides the highest quality service and support of Shimadzu TMP’s, with a staff of factory trained technicians and a Shimadzu factory engineer as its Quality Representative and technical support. | |||||
