Shimadzu Precision Instrument

Shimadzu Precision Instruments, Inc. (SPI) was incorporated in 1979, and is the wholly owned US subsidiary of Shimadzu Corporation, Japan. Organizationally, SPI is comprised of three separate groups; the Aircraft Group, the Medical Systems Group, and the Vacuum Technology Group. SPI’s headquarters is located in Torrance, California, and has approximately 120 employees. SPI markets and sells various aircraft parts, medical equipment, and industrial machinery, including Turbo Molecular Pumps, throughout the USA.
